Job Description

As a Field Engineer for FTTx Projects at Lemcon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment, maintenance, and optimization of advanced fiber-optic networks. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for site deployment, technical support, and quality assurance, ensuring FTTx projects meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Deploy FTTx, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fiber-optic infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to ensure network quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to optimize FTTx network performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and clients to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards during all field operations.
• Document and report site activities, progress, and technical findings accurately.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in FTTx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Proven experience in FTTx project management, site management, or related roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of fiber-optic technology, network protocols, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using FTTx testing tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required.
• Fluency in Tagalog and English.
